This steamer came in have you when my wife‘s side of the family visited. With so many people to feed, it was nice to have a steamer that can cook so many things at the same time. The material is enough to make it sturdy though I’ve seen steamers with thicker material. The lighter material, however, makes it easy to lift and clean. Highly recommended.

This makes some really good food. Nothing beats steamed chicken.

I had been steam cooking so much lately that I finally broke down and got this steamer pot. I broke it in by making a large batch of tamales and using all the inserts. I was very pleased with it! The tamales cooked perfectly and nobody had to wait for more to be cooked! I also use this steamer pot for reheating leftovers. I put my leftovers in freezer zip bags and place them on a rack in the steamer. The meats reheat great without overcooking (even grilled meats that are still pink in the middle: just keep an eye on the temp that it doesn't steam cook the meat through). The food doesn't get waterlogged, dried out, or curdled. And the food retains better flavor being steam reheated (instead of microwaved). I have not tried any Asian steamed foods in this, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. Oh, and the glass in the lid is great!

Great product. My mom use it to steam dumplings and baozi, and it works really good. Good size to put enough food inside and the quality feels good too. Would recommend this to anyone who wants it.
