Sturdy, quality, and lots of storage!
12/13/2022Out of all the storage toy box type boxes this has got to be the best one on amazon! My biggest issue with all the other listings for storage toy boxes was the bottom. I needed something that could handle the weight of alot of heavy holiday decorations and this one was by far the best. The top is super sturdy as well. Im just over 200lbs and I've stood on it a few times with no issue. I did it gradually at first and only stood on the edges where the walls of the box supported the most weight but I've realized it can handle my full weight even in the center of the lid. It just goes to show the quality of this box for a fraction of the price you'd normally pay. I like that the hinges wont break off either. I noticed alot of other storage box listings had that problem in many of the reviews but not for this one! The wood top is a nice dark wood and the assembly was pretty simple. I also like the fact that there's additional instructions at the back of the pamphlet that explain how to adjust the lid's hinges if your lid is slightly off. Mine was fine though so no issues there. I also like that the lid closes at a nice pace and touches down soft. So no broken fingers suddnely caught under a falling lid! Do note that the base of this trunk does sit pretty flush with the floor so just know what surface you want to place it on. I have flat tarrazzo floors so it's perfect for my space. All in all, i love this chest. It's not too big or too small and fits perfectly in the space I needed it. It makes great for additional sitting space or just another surface to decorate (like I've done). And you definitely are getting the best deal for the price. So totally worth it! 15/10 would definitely recommend!
