Super easy to assemble and no tools are required. The tools are a shorter style so really nice when you have limited space and want tools that disappear into the background. The tongs have significant tension and come with a handy clip to keep them closed. Very pleased and a great price point for the quality.

My hubby wanted a smaller fireplace tool set for our cabin wood stove set on a tiled pedestal and this one is perfect. I could tell it was returned and re-shipped as new because some stuff was already assembled but everything still looked brand new. This set is small but mighty...very sturdy. The handles feel good in the hand which is not the case with the more common narrow handles. We probably won't use the tongs since my hubby prefers to use large grill tongs with our wood stove...these tongs seem like they might be hard on arthritic hands. We also have a bigger ash scoop that we will just keep in our Behrens ash can. If you're looking for a smaller tool set this one is perfect. Definitely recommended.

Well made, looks so sturdy. Super easy to assemble in a minute. I saw the other reviews complained about the size, true, these are not long, but fits my townhome fireplace perfectly. And do not image the size, measure it. For myself, I cannot hold too heavy tools, and these tools have the perfect weight for me. Cant wait this winter to use them.
