All I can say is that they are a lot thicker and a lot stronger. You probably don’t need to clamp down the corners because you might need to switch it up to different shapes or connect with another one. I just simple hook them up and put them on the ground. That way they’re still sturdy and worked like a charm. Folding them and put them away is much easier because you can fold them back. I’ll take them off the ground and put in my shed when winter comes. It will last for many years to come.

These metal cages work so much better than the cheap circular ones. They can be folded for storage as well. I was able to create squares out of them and set them up around my tomatoes and peppers. They look so nice and easily support my plants.

The materials and construction are very sturdy, and I like the longer wires at the base that allow for a more stable seating of each cage. Years ago, I purchased this style of tomato cages from Burpee. These are definitely superior to the more expensive Burpee product. They require no construction and fold flat for easy storage.

My mom is an avid vegi gardener. some of her plants like tomatoes and peppers however always had the lodging issue meaning they tended to bend over to the ground when they grew tall and their fruits became heavy. As a result, rabbits and bugs from the ground could easily reach and enjoy the fruits lol. i am happy amazon carries these plant cages as i could not find similar product in local stores. My mom likes them a lot since they are just so helpful. The cages are quite large and tall so can easily fit grown plants. They are also sturdy enough to support plant’s weight. My mom told me that the yield of her tomatoes and peppers has doubled this year. :)
